The Commercial Thermal Insulation Operative apprenticeship teaches you to fit insulation systems to pipes, vessels, ductwork, and industrial equipment to conserve energy and protect plant in industrial and commercial buildings. You will work with materials such as mineral wool, foam, and calcium silicate, shaping and fixing them to complex shapes. This trade is in demand across the energy, process, and construction sectors.
