Role overview
The Historic Environment Advisor apprenticeship at Level 7 trains experienced professionals to provide independent, expert advice on the conservation and management of England's historic buildings, landscapes, and archaeological heritage. You will lead heritage impact assessments, advise on complex planning cases, develop policy, and influence how organisations manage their historic assets strategically. It leads to chartered membership of professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists or IHBC and senior specialist roles across the sector.
