Role overview

A Removals Operative assists with the packing, loading, transportation, and delivery of customers' household or commercial goods when they move home or office. Apprentices learn to handle furniture and fragile items safely, operate vehicles, and provide excellent customer service during what is often a stressful day for clients. This entry-level apprenticeship leads to senior operative, team leader, or specialist roles such as fine art or antiques removals.
