This Level 2 apprenticeship trains traffic operators to manage and monitor traffic flow on roads and motorways using control room technology, variable message signs, and CCTV systems. Apprentices work in regional or national traffic control centres, responding to incidents and keeping road users informed. It can lead to roles as a Senior Traffic Operator, Team Leader, or specialist roles in incident management.
