The Role & Expectations
As a biomedical scientist, you work in hospital or laboratory settings running tests that help doctors know what's wrong with patients. Most days you're at the bench working with samples, using machines to analyse them and recording the results. It's detailed work that needs patience and concentration, but you're helping doctors make decisions that get people better.
