Is this the only route?
This is the standard academic trajectory, but modern careers are highly flexible. You can often skip stages by entering the industry with an advanced qualification (like a Master's or PhD), or pivot sideways from a related discipline.
University Degree
Usually 3 to 4 years of full-time academic study, explicitly preparing you for the theoretical realities of the industry.
Junior Hypnotherapist
As a junior hypnotherapist, you will assist in client sessions under supervision, gaining practical experience and building your client base.
Mid-Level Hypnotherapist
In this role, you will independently manage a diverse client portfolio, applying advanced techniques and refining your therapeutic approach.
Senior Hypnotherapist
As a senior hypnotherapist, you will lead workshops, mentor junior therapists, and possibly contribute to research or training programmes.
