Role overview
The Dairy Technologist apprenticeship trains you to oversee and optimise the processes used to manufacture dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt, butter, and liquid milk, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout production. You will apply food science knowledge to manage production parameters, troubleshoot process problems, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This Level 5 qualification leads to careers as a dairy production manager, process technologist, or quality assurance specialist in the dairy industry.
