Role overview
The Engineering Operative (materials, processing and finishing) apprenticeship trains you to carry out practical tasks such as processing, treating and finishing materials and components in a manufacturing environment. You will work under supervision to prepare, shape and finish materials safely while keeping production running efficiently. This Level 2 qualification can lead to more senior operative or technician roles within engineering and manufacturing.
