Role overview

The Building Control Surveyor integrated degree apprenticeship trains you to check that building projects comply with the Building Regulations, covering structural safety, fire safety, energy efficiency and accessibility. Apprentices work with architects, developers and contractors to approve and inspect building work. It leads to registered building control approver roles in local authorities and the private sector.
